Contact the agency that placed you in bad standing and simply send them proof. You shouldn%26#039;t have to pay a dime for it if you have the proof.

No there is no charge to remove mistakes. Here is a link on how to dispute this with the three credit reporting agencies.

if someone place a debt my mistake it should be a faily easy problem to correct. first get the name and addresses of the 3 major credit bureaus, mail them a copy preferibly notorized from the people that made the error. mail the copys certified to each credit credit bureau, if you are correct you should shortly reciev e a returned report making the adjustment and a complete copy of your credit history at nooooo charge to you.if you need the addresses then just post another question to yahoo and someone like me will furninsh it for you.
