I found out recently when I opened up a new chequing account that I was denied Cheques from the institution because of my credit bureau shows that I have too many inquires in a short time frame! I looked at the history and found out that last summer while I purchased a new vehicle and the dealership was trying to find financing for me...they sent it off to over 10 financial loan institutions. And they all showed up on my credit bureau. And that looks very bad. But, even though I did get a car loan ...I didn%26#039;t know this would effect my history --- until now. I was told by my bank that there is a certain number of inquires allowed when checking into your credit bureau. So how long should I wait until I try to apply again for credit? The bank associate said I have a very good rating, however, the inquiries are too high...NOT FAIR! And I%26#039;m trying to re-establish good credit some how...help...
Too many Inquires on my Credit Bureau?
Typically, the inquiries within the past 90 days are the ones that are most likely to negatively affect your credit. Usually inquiries alone would not be a reason for a denial on a credit request though.
Too many Inquires on my Credit Bureau?
you inquiries are viewed for the last year. too many gives the impression your in dire need of money and looking for additional credit.
Too many Inquires on my Credit Bureau?
Don%26#039;t worry about it. It will only be against you for about 30-60 days. In the meantime what you can do to improve your credit is..
Always pay more than minimum payments even if its a little over.
Always keep your cards less than 1/2 charged up.
ie: You have a card with $5000 credit on it don%26#039;t charge it up to over $2,500
