My credit report said that enough time has passed to have some items removed. Do I call the bureau o

my credit report says the the status of of some accounts should have dropped in December and January and March to come. Do I call the company or the credit bureau to get the item removed from my report? I%26#039;m trying to refinance and want these items to drop off so I can get a better rate.

Any news is good news.

Contact the credit reporting agenices first, you have to contrst the items that are still there that are eligible to come off.. They%26#039;re pains in the *** though, so good luck, and it usually takes 30-45 days for them to remove something because they have to %26quot;investigate%26quot; it ::rolls eyes:: so make sure befor eyou apply for anything that you follow up with them if you haven%26#039;t heard anything about your items being removed after 45 days. They have a tendency to say they%26#039;ll send you a letter when it%26#039;s been cleared up and then not doing it. Be persisitent, be a pest if you have to and make sure you follow up.
